Tuesday Poem: Just Folding

“And because we are human, it is in the realm of the daily and the mundane that we must find our way to God.”  -the Quotidian Mysteries by Kathleen Norris

just folding clothes

just holding him in my lap

just watering potted plants

just drinking coffee

just reading a book

just waiting on the front porch for Daddy to come

folding, holding, watering, drinking, reading, and waiting again.

just writing to record, just wanting to remember

a fleeting ordinary day

What is your Tuesday poem?

How does it sound?

    1. laughs! Love it. Jeff picked it up last year in Orlando. After going to my cousins wedding, we went to Disney World for a day. Thanks for your constant encouragement and for stopping by my blog Erin!
